The
80th Anniversary of Winter Park High School
was celebrated by the annual WPHS Spring Picnic
in the Park downtown Winter Park on Saturday
morning, April 19th, 2008. The
WPHS Class of 1958 held it's 50th class reunion
during that same weekend with events beginning
Friday, April 18th and ending April 20th.
There
are upwards of 1,000 photo's on the web site
"Snapfish" that can be viewed and/or
individually purchased for nine cents each if

As
co-chair, I am very pleased to
report that the committee and ultimately
the Class of 1958 reached its goal of
funding the reunion and memory book. In
addition, we accumulated enough extra
money to make a $500 donation to WPHS
for the Bill Gordon Discretionary Fund
to be used for a school project he deems
worthy. Claudia and I want to thank everyone
who contributed their time and dollars
to our fantastically successful reunion.
The favorable compliments are still being
received and the community grapevine is
buzzing about our reunion weekend.
